Throughout his career, he has successfully led thousands of employees, navigating the daily challenges and stresses inherent in hospitality. Richard's leadership philosophy centers on prioritizing employee wellbeing, with the conviction that a well-supported team is essential for business success and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Richard's educational background includes a degree from the University of Virginia, supplemented by an Integrated Health and Wellness Coaching Certification from the University of Vermont, and he is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Richard's unique skill set and comprehensive approach to employee management and wellness makes him a valuable asset in both the corporate hospitality sector and the health and wellness field.

In addition to his work with OpenGate, Richard serves as the Integrated Health Coach at the Woodstock Inn Athletic Club in Woodstock, Vermont.
